To register the sale of 2 cars and pay my long overdue taxes I had to go to 3 (three) different places, 3 desks at each office. That is only for the Revenue Office. Two more for the police. Jesus Christ, no wonder the government wants to fire 20% of all public workers. I can think of at least 5 out of 9 people I spoke today as candidates for redundancy. Plus the idiot who created this process. Makes me wish they would hire me for free just to fix that piece of shit.
For the record – you cannot pay your local taxes online, that would be too difficult and it will have an impact on these people plus many more. As a well known “business analyst” on the TV said a few weeks ago – if you fire 20% of public workers they will not have money to buy the daily crap they “need” from the supermarket. That means less profits for the supermarkets, which translates in more job losses in the private sector, and that would mean the crisis will take longer to go away. After today, I would say, keep the crisis and fire the idiots now!
